Free Meals Program

Starting September 11, 2020, through December 31, 2020 (contingent on the availability of funding)

Attention Families,

To ensure that all children have access to nutritious meals during the pandemic, the USDA has approved schools the option of operating under the Summer Feeding programs. Starting tomorrow, Friday, September 11, 2020 and continuing through to December 31, 2020 (contingent on the availability of funding) all Greencastle Antrim students will be able to receive a FREE breakfast and a FREE lunch each day at school. This includes student virtual meals as well.

Because this program has only been approved through December 2020, please continue to fill out and send in free and reduced applications. This will ensure your student(s) will be qualified to receive free or reduced meals at the start of the new calendar year, if they are eligible.

Please note: If your child purchased meals between September 1, 2020 and September 10, 2020 and deposited money to cover those charges the money will be credited back to their account. This should happen by the end of next week. We currently are working on extending this service to our community members 0-18 years of age and not attending Greencastle Antrim schools in person. An announcement will be made when this is open to the community.
